Stevie Norman plays guitar!
Starting at the tender age of only eight years old, it's been a long road. The Norman family band, sixth grade choir shows, junior high talent shows, high school stage band, and many different bands with many different styles after that! In 1996, using the stage name "Steve South", it was the Steve South Band, playing classic rock, R&B, blues and more until the end of 2006. After 1 cd, ten years and thousands of gigs, it was time for a fresh start! In 2007, Stevie shed the stage name and proudly began endorsing the family heritage! The format changed also and the Stevie Norman Blues Band began, slowly evolving and still changing to this day! The plan for a 2007 CD release was postponed, but new songs are being written and we will eventually record a new CD (We promise!)!
In 2009 the name was modified to simply, Stevie Norman Band, but stay tuned because this story isn't over yet!
Stevie Norman will always play guitar!

Great playing Stevie. I can hear the Johnny Winter influence immediately but I also some Jimmie and Stevie Ray in there. I hope 2009 in a good year for you.
