For every one person, that messages me, another twenty just have a look, is that 19 missed opportunities or lucky escapes.

I'm a Divorced father of two wonderful young children. I am no oil painting, or wish to be one, what you see, is what you get with me. I make the best of what I am, no way am I perfect, as I am not a robot.

During The 80's I worked in music industry, managing a record shop, concert ticket sales and concert radio promotions. Anyone who has seen Nick Hornby's 'High Fidelity' gives a true picture of me - lol. I made many friends in music business, and am still in contact with many of them. I do like to go to concerts, and have been to over 1000, and some of the bands i don't even remember their names. I wish I could play a note, sadly I can't; but do appreciate those who can. But both my children have taken up learning to play instruments.

Love to read about music and am listening as often as possible, and no I don't sing in the shower. It does help that i have a vast collection, which I am trying slowly to convert to MP3. Now that my kids bought me a USB turntable this process will speed up, maybe!
