Stevvi has been singing for as long as she can remember with the church as her training ground. As the daughter of a Pentecostal pastor she could be found singing in as many choirs as she could possibly join. As a young woman she continued to refine her skills singing with various groups, performing in local talent shows and competing in ACT-SO. While still in college she was signed to a record deal on Columbia Records with the group Saraparker but due to shifts in the company the completed album was never released. Unable to even attend her graduation ceremony due to an invitation from Diana Ross to join her European tour - she began her career as a backing vocalist. To date she has toured and/or worked closely with Macy Gray, Mya, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson, Brian McKnight, Britney Spears, Kenny Lattimore, Anastascia, Patti LaBelle, Jessica Simpson, Chante Moore, Fantasia, Patti Austin, RES, Nelly Furtado, Sheryl Crow, Travis Tritt and Gwen Stefani to name a few. She constantly appears on television backing up the biggest stars and talents of the day. She has performed on both the Grammy's and the American Music Awards numerous times. She has appeared on the albums of both Macy Gray and Incubus and is currently working as a jingle artist in both NY and LA. She has worked as an artist both individually and collectively with a band based in Los Angeles called Star69.

Not only a singer - she is a songwriter and guitarist pushing herself toward growth and artistic mastery in every way. She now stands poised to launch a project which holds immeasureable meaning to her. She has spent the last year and a half writing a collection of songs that she would describe as Alternative Christian. Her goals include the acquisition of a record deal, subsequent distribution and worldwide performances that include festivals, conferences, churches, coffehouses and clubs! She brings to the project a wealth of music industry experience, a church background and a sincere desire to provide believers with music that is relevant, sincere and progressive. She aims to align herself with like ministeries who are committed to representing the church accurately in an unsettled and doubt-filled world and hopes to focus primarily on connecting with at-risk youth. Stevvi states, "It seems obvious to me that what you do when no one is looking is what you really love and cherish, and that has been my approach to music and spirituality. Not for the glamour or the lifestyle, I NEED music in my life as a center with my belief as the foundation. Growing up in a restrictive household was tough and music was the only thing that spoke to me. It WAS my identity." Music is the language through which Stevvi speaks and it is her hope that someone, somehow will benefit from her expression.
