Welcome to the Saint Francis Animal Shelter Project. The objective of this web site is to generate awareness and support for a No Kill Animal Shelter in Southern California. I am currently in the Research phase of this project. I still have a long way to go. But with God’s help, your prayers and support, this worthwhile project will be completed and continued for years to come.
My vision is to have a shelter on 500 to 1000 acres of land that will have a adoption center for homeless pets, a sanctuary for abused animals, a haven for older and unhealthy animals, and last but not least, a half way house program for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. People in the program will work in the shelter with the animals, gain work experience, and most of all learn something about themselves in caring for homeless and neglected animals.
Right now I need any information on starting a non-profit, the cost estimates of building a shelter, cost estimates of running a shelter, any information about grants and donations from corporations, and most importantly your prayers and support.
The LORD JESUS knows exactly what issues and problems you are facing in your life this weekend. I pray that JESUS will reveal himself to you more and more over the next few days. I pray that you will begin to feel the presence of the LORD so strongly, that you will even be able to feel him holding you real tight when you need him the most...........
