Historia: A comienzos de 2005, en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, surge un nuevo proyecto encarado por E. Jay Ali (Ex "Nailpain") y Gabriel Mateos (Ex "Exhibición Atroz" y "Voodoomen" actual Volador G), a cargo de las guitarras, bajo, batería, programación y samplers, con la idea de elaborar un sonido y estilo musical original, tratando de mezclar la melancolía gótica con el ritmo del Pop y la violencia del metal industrial.
Dispuestos a lograr este objetivo, Gabriel Mateos (reconocido productor de bandas como Perpetua y Volador G) emprende el trabajo de pre-producción para luego a mediados del 2005 comenzar la grabación y producción de los temas compuestos por E. Jay, la cual demoraría cinco meses.
Terminada la grabación con el fin de editar un CD, inician la búsqueda de músicos experimentados para que se unan al proyecto, incorporando a Sergio Sotomayor en la batería ("Adicta"), Martín Zlotnik en el bajo y Jeremías Pawelek en los teclados y guitarra rítmica.
Album: "Beautiful Cold Ice" es el título del primer disco de St. Grial, producido totalmente por Gabriel Mateos, realizando la grabación, mezcla y masterización.
El disco cuenta con 11 temas, 10 de ellos propios, más un cover de The Cure "To Wish Imposible Things".
"Beautiful Cold Ice" despliega un sonido actual, con influencias que van de la melancolía gótica a la furia del metal industrial, con voces al mejor estilo Depeche Mode, guitarras potentes y filosas, teclados melódicos, climas oscuros con samplers y sintetizadores.

History: In early 2005, in Buenos Aires city, there appeared a new project faced by E. Jay Ali (Nail Pain) and Gabriel Mateos (Exhibición Atroz and Voodoomen), at guitars, bass, programming and samples, with the idea to elaborate an original musical sound and style. Trying to mix The emotion of Gothic Metal with Pop Rhythms and the Power of Industrial Metal. Ready to reach this target, Gabriel Mateos (producer of bands such as Perpetua and Volador G) started pre-production and in the middle of 2005, he began the recording and production of songs composed by E. Jay Ali, A task that would take five months. They began searching for musicians to join the project adding Sergio Sotomayor on Drums (Adicta), Martin Zlotnik on Bass, and Jeremias Pawelek on Rhythm Guitar and Keyboards.
Album: "Beautiful Cold Ice" is the tile of the first album by St. Grial, produced completely by Gabriel Mateos. The album has 11 tracks. 10 songs are originals by the band and one cover To wish impossible things by The Cure. "Beautiful Cold Ice" shows a sound with influences from Gothic Metal to the fury of Industrial Metal, with vocals resembling Depeche Mode. Powerful guitars, bright keyboards, dark ambience with samples and synthesizers, and driving rhythms complete the package .

We're very excited that in approximately a month, we'll finally have some songs ready to be heard from our first REAL album, finally the real deal will begin. They are so many of you out there who keeps showing support to the project and we are dedicating this first album to all of you, thx for the help!
We are confident you'll be here the day of our release, which will be annouced in a few weeks, and be sure to know that it mean a lot to us, it's been long, for those following us since the beginning, and especially for us. It's been 3 years since we started, today october 21st exactly actually marks the first day that me (Mat) and my brother (fred) started jamming with the idea of making a band.
And so we are now, with a kick ass lead guitarist and a groovy bassist, ready to kick some ass!
So yeah, not much to say, just hope youll be there helping us promoting that first CD and we cant wait to blast the whole world with it!
