Hello and happy 2009! It's about time i updated this piece. Instead of making several resolutions I will disappoint myself with, I've decided to stick with themes. I thought long and hard for ten minutes, and came up with: Renewal, Responsibility, and Romance! Becoming an adult has pushed me away from my love affair with the arts, as I grew up in theatre/public speaking/writing, and I am determined to get back in touch with my creative side. I'd love to see what it takes to get into TV commercials, but I am also playing with the idea of building a modeling portfolio. It feels awkward and embarrassing even typing the word "model", but the goal is to become comfortable and confident with it (Insert plug for 24-Hour Fitness)! My responsibilities lie with my new baby boy kitty, Moby, and my finances. Hopefully someday this artistic renewal will pay off! Doing what I love and getting PAID for it?! Really?! Thanks be to my BFF, Tanya, for showing me how much fun it can be again! Must say though, I am having a blast as a flight attendant, and intend to take advantage of travel benefits this year! Romance is just what it is. I don't just want attention, I want the real thing again. I was spoiled rotten with it for 2 wonderful years, and I believe another card-giving, dinner-by-candlelight, communication whiz of a man is out there for me. Like my mother always told me, "Traci, why settle for the blue dress when you can have the RED dress?!" Kind of ironic that my 2009 new year's dress was just that...red. And I worked hard for two months to properly fit into it! See? I CAN have it all!!
