A four piece band from Leicester.
Sticks and stones formed in early 2006 by Josh Welsh and Joe Culverwell, the band saw many changes to its line, trying out and testing different bass guitarists and drummers, before finally settling with Michael Brawley on Bass and Lead Guitar and Steve Mooncie on drums around Christmas time of 2006. The band stopped playing at the end of last year with people going off to University but have since reformed now everyones back home and plan to play a few gigs this summer.
The band bring out a style brought across by the varied interests of each member, attempting to create our own sound different to the vast majority of mainstream indie today, putting an emphasis on creating new songs and pieces of music which sound a lot different to what we already have, and thus creating an entertaining and varied library of songs.

Sticks and Stones
Four member indie/funk band formed in 2006. Influences include the Beatles, The Kinks and the Who. The band is devoted to kick ass, foot tapping songs that make the audience want to rock n roll. Backed by some strong guitar work from Joe Culverwell, Sticks and Stones have a set of creative and entertaining songs.
