The actual history and the beginning of Stigmatize has more longer roots, but lets begin where the real action starts! So it was fall 2003 when Sauli joined the band in order to play drums, at this point the composition of the band was Anssi (bass), J-P(guitar), Ville(guitar) and Sauli(drums). So now there was all the needed musicians despite the fact that there was no actual singer, but Anssi and J-P took pretty good care to fulfill that field so what else did the band need? Well, the answer arrived, when Joni Soini joined the band at spring 2004, intending to be a keyboard -player, but suddenly Joni became the third guitarrist of the band.
Now that Stigmatize was bigger than ever (at least numerously), it was time to record their first demo Nightfall. Nightfall achieved litle attention and there were even a few gigs.
After Nightfall's incipient succes, things started to slow down a bit, and it was all military service's fault! The band didn't give up, and they even recorded another demo: "Elsewhere" in 2005. This masterpiece caught some attention in recording labels, but still there was no true achievement, a litle attention in the media, but that was all - unfortunately.
In 2006 things got into new spheres when Stigmatize and Piia found each other, because it meant that Anssi and J-P were now able to concentrate to play their own instruments full-time, in english this meant that Piia was going to be the lead vocalist of the band. Unfortunately there can't be good things without the bad one's, so Joni left the band - with no reason.
So there had been some chances in the composition, but the band was still going on and even recorded new demo which was ingeniously named "Demo 2007". This was the first demo the band recorded with Piia.
In 2007 things started really get serious and there were even more gigs during this year than in all the previous years.
Things were going so well, that Stigmatize decided to record their fourth demo "falling apart", which was released 15.6.-07. Unfortunately again it was time to say goodbye to another member of the band, because Ville had to leave the band because he was moving away to study in university.
Even though there had been really big chances in the band, it still kept going and recorded their latest demo "Minutes To Monday". This demo caught admirable attention and there were many gigs during the fall and winter...
And then it was J-P's time to do his military service! Again Finnish government tried to slow things down (and that's what it kinda managed to do).
But the wind of change is blowing now, when it's the year 2009 and it's almost the time when the Stigmatize is releasing the Very First Album!
Oh yes - there will be succes.

Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.
