.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. I'm Ryan and I am a freelance saxophone player based in close proximity to Nashville and Louisville. My preferred instruments are baritone and tenor sax. I host a regular blues jam session for the Kentucky Blues Society, every Sunday at 6pm at Whabah in Bowling Green. I've played a lot of places, and with a lot of wonderful players... I've played with jazz greats, grammy winners, major jam bands, and some of the best blues musicians alive. In addition to live performances across the US, I also have spent many hours in recording studios, and performed several musical theater engagements. I am currently accepting new projects, and students as well. I studied for a while with Frank Tiberi. He was an incredible teacher, and a strong influence. I consider myself to be influenced by all types of music, and sound. I love the blues, funk, motown and stax. I like the sounds of nature. It's all music, and it's all good. (mostly.) -
