"Stilla-mode" is a Japanese Hiphop unit, Mic(2mo'key), Beatbox(M-oto), and Beatmaker(Masacote).Our music is based on 90's Hiphop golden era, when Gangstarr says "Jazz thing", A Tribe Called Quest was on "Award tour", and Pete Rock & CL Smooth had "Lots of Lovin'".Much Jazz, Soul, and Funk..... but sound itself, like no others.We take you back to the time when Hiphop was real "Hiphop".....

■M-OTO (Beatbox)
2004年からHuman Beatboxとして活動を開始。Club/Cafe等でのソロ活動の後、都内でのLive HouseやClubでのJam Sessionに参加。ジャンルにとらわれずRock,Pops,R&B,Soul,Jazz,Hip-Hop,Brazilian,etc...セッション活動を広げていく。2005年にBass Player 日野"JINO"賢二の2nd album"JINO"とLive Sessionにも参加。またR&B Singer 高橋一平のLive Sessionに参加と共にFM NACK5"Radio-X"に出演開始。
2006年、Guitar Player 原田喧太のLive SessionやRecordingに参加し、彼と共に2006年 吉川晃司 Live Tour Final "ROLL OVER THE DISCOTHEQUE! FROM CLUB JUNGLE" at 武道館に参加。同タイトルDVDにもライブ収録。2007年、Skoop On Somebody"BEST HIT S.O.S."Tour Finalに飛び入り参加。現在はR&B,Soul,Jazzy Hip-Hop,Funk,Gospel,etc...Black Musicを基盤に都内を中心にライブ活動中。
■Masacote (Track maker)
Pete Rock に衝撃を受け、MPCを手に、トラックメイキングを始める。高校卒業と同時に渡米、LA、NYと6年間渡り歩き、現地の様々なアーティストへの楽曲提供やコラボレーションを実現。また、DJとしてもレギュラーイベントで活躍しその名前を轟かす。帰国後、ビートの道を追求すべくパーカッショニストとしてバンドに参加、ビートパターンにさらなる磨きをかけ、これまでに提供したビートの数は100を越える。2007年6月 Stilla-modeを結成。
自身のルーツであるジャズ、ソウルネタを独自のセンスでチョップしたトラックは90s'を彷彿させながらも、他に類を見ないMasacote soundであり、構築されるメロディの美さ、楽曲構成の引き出しの多さは秀逸である。日本が世界へ誇るビートメーカーとしてワールドワイドな活動が期待されている。
