Stillborn Skies began as a solo acoustic project thrown about the open mic’s of hawaii for some time. The songs were played to catch the ears of people willing to backup the lyrics and create the full potential of the song writing.
The structures of the songs were finally recorded and after a year of mapping out what a rock band would sound verses and acoustic duo, three musicians came together. Acoustic melodies soon transformed into intense breakdowns, off time rhythms, and catchy riffs. Some songs were rearranged comepletely to fit the style of what Stillborn Skies has become. The sense of natural and honest songwriting still lingers in the now full band versions but with a more competitive edge; an immensly talented bass player and undeniably seasoned drummer.
Stillborn Skies plans on moving from sitting on a barstool to ravaging local stages. Getting the live performances to become famous, making every chorus get caught in your head and having even your girlfriend dig that one slow jam. If you are searching for something different, something that screams "sing with me" or even just ’not that hard’ hardcore, check out Stillborn Skies appearing live all over hawaii soon.
