Call it passion… a passion for playing music, add a friendship, a chance meeting 70 miles from home & a fundraiser that needed a band. All of these elements would come into play & lead three musicians to take a chance at creating a sound together. The 3 musicians soon realized there was something beyond the synergy that had so quickly ‘evolved.’ Blessed with 2 singer/songwriters that share singing lead, the intensity of their original songs delight fans just as much as the diverse collection of covers played at Still Evolving shows.
Still Evolving’s eclectic set-list spans the decades with hits from the Beatles, Rush, Pink Floyd, Van Morrison, The Who, Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Skynard, Joe Jackson, Mellencamp, Jack Johnson, Barenaked Ladies, Matchbox 20, Vertical Horizon, Toad The Wet Sprocket, The Fray & many others compose the diverse collection that truly appeals to anyone and consistently gets crowds up and dancing at every performance.
The professionalism and adaptable artistry of Still Evolving has put them in large demand for a variety of show formats. They have played mellow, low key shows for several fundraisers; acoustic performances for wineries, wedding receptions & house concerts; many company & private parties, wedding receptions, as well as full blown rock shows for various sized clubs, Summer Concerts In The Park, the Strawberry Festival & Autumn Arts Festival for the City of Santa Maria.
For nearly two years, fans at Still Evolving shows continue to comment on how the intense vocal harmonies align and flow. Another frequent compliment the band gets is how their enthusiasm for playing music comes forth in the contagious energy that they create while on stage. With an ever-growing fan base, the three musicians consider it an honor and a privilege to play for people who just hands down enjoy good music.
