Michael Comiskey and Bill Volmut are the heart and soul of Still House, and have played in Seattle for ten years. Their foundation is good melody-driven pop, sombre ballads, and crossover country and alternative rock styles without hesitation. Michael takes the lead vocals and rhythm acoustic, while Bill adds the necessary nuances with violin and punctuating lead guitar.
Bill, you'll be quite amused that in 2008 I am challenging myself with learning guitar... Six strings, what am I gonna DO? Ack! I'm a bass player, not a singer-songwriter! It's best left to those with talent, like yourself, in my opinion. Still, one must challenge oneself with impossible things now and again. :-P Take care -- alison
