I have too many interests. Hahaha! If that's possible. For starters children. <3 Poetry, of course. Writing it and reading it. I have a few of my own published and just recently won a contest with one that was written when I was like twelve! My favorite poet is A. H. Clough.

I also write other stuff. I love to blog, and am thinking about writing a book, not sure what it will be about yet. I am addicted to Sims 2, can't stop playing it. I enjoy the game everquest and diablo 2. Oh, and online groups, can't join enough of those. I'm also very interested in mental and emotional counseling. I have had several of my own groups for that, to help others.
My biggest interest at the moment is God! February 5th, 2005 I became a christian and since then have been learning to trust the Lord and give all of my worries to Him, which I am finding hard to do but I am trying. I don't go to a church, not yet anyway, and when I do I'm not sure as of yet which denomination it will be. Right now I'm just trying to learn about all of them.
Music
My favorite intruments are the piano, the violin, and acoustic guitar.
My all time favorites are my dad, he may not be famous to the world but he is to me, and my brother June Bug, he is so awesome! And even though it drove me nutty when he sang, my hubby. I miss listening to him try to sing like Ozzy!
Music is another way my soul expresses itself. I used to sing, releasing my emotions through songs, but stopped a few years ago because of shyness. That doesn't mean I stopped liking it though. I like a wide variety of styles, as long as the lyrics have a meaning that I can relate to. Music and poetry make a good combination eh?!!
Movies
Any horror or comedy. I love anything with Johnny Depp, Drew Barrymore, Jim Carrey, Brad Pitt, Richard Gere, Adam Sandler, and Julia Roberts.
Television
Some of my favorite shows are Emeril Live, The Ghost Whisperer, Nip/Tuck, My Name Is Earl, Bones, Medium, Charmed, Dr. Phil, Oprah, My So Called Life, ER, Friends, Passions, and Days of our Lives, and shows about ghost, hauntings, aliens, and unexplained mysteries. I love the stand up comic shows. Anything about makeovers or plastic surgery. And a few of the reality shows. Oh, and of course thee cartoons Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry, & Tweety Bird.
Books
I love to read. Mostly mysteries. I usually don't like romance novels. But the last book I read, "The Rock Orchard", was marvelous. A mixture of romance, suspence, and a bit of comical sarcasm, it is something everyone should read. Especially we females. I also like ghost stories and books about unexplained mysteries. And of course poetry!

I hate these "about me" spaces. As if I don't talk about myself enough already, hehe! What can I say.
Well, I'm Amanda. I'm 25 years old and from a small town in Virginia. I have lived in this area all but 4 1/2 years of my life in which I lived in an even smaller town in West Virginia.
The reason for the beat of my heart is my son, Christian. He's an absolute doll. In my opinion, the cutest, smartest, sweetest and most adorable five year old to ever walk the planet. He has the biggest blue eyes, and the most precious strawberry hair to be seen. He's my joy, and the biggest part of the reason behind me even making an effort to breath. He's a gift from God, and until the day I die I'll do everything possible to make him happy and to feel loved. And even after, my love for him will still remain to be felt by him, now and forever.

I have a fetish for words. If you say the right words you will have complete control over me. Words are the best, and for me only, way to express emotions. I'm a sucker for artsy guys and let's face it, putting together the right words is the most fascinating and soul containing art there is.
I also have a thing for guys with brown eyes. So dreamy, sometimes I look into brown eyes and get lost in a maze of wonder and fascination. However, sometimes I see a certain shade of blue and I forget who I am and fall head over heels. Hahaha! So needless to say a guys eyes are the first think I notice.
I absolutely love animals, any animal. I do have a favorite though, kittens make me melt, even though I am allergic to them! :-) I don't care though. My life wouldn't be complete without my cats. Right now I have Cupcake, a solid white cat, and Broke (Little One), my white kitten. I also have Christian's chihuahuas Spot and Scat and my baby chihuahua Fruitloop. (Oh the names Christian comes up with!)
I enjoy anything educational. I am always trying to learn new things or maybe go into more depth with the knowledge I already have. Yeah, I admit it, I'm a geek! I love poetry, whether it be writing it, reading it, doesn't matter, I love poetry all around. What can I say? The rhythm of the beats of my heart create a song of a poetic soul. ;-) I also like art, though I cannot draw worth anything. I like fantasy and dark art the most. What else?? Ah, the unknown. I love learning what little is know about everything unknown. Aliens/ufo's, ghosts/hauntings, various religions, witchcraft/wicca, psychic phenomena, anything supernatural, and on and on and on!
I have a habit of growing emotional attachments with people way too fast. Abandonment and rejection are two of my greatest fears, along with fire, death, needles, and insects. Rats are another thing I'm terrified of. I have scars after be bitten by one when I was a baby. I'm odd, strange, weird, unique, whatever you want to call it. I'm afraid of letting anyone get emotionally too close to me and tend to do whatever it is I do to drive them away after beginning a relationship, yet I'm afraid of abandonment, ironic eh? I try to stay away from odd numbers, or numbers with a six or divisible by thirteen. Don't know why. I'm not superstitious, but try not to push my luck just incase. I have strange habits and rituals. I have a fear that if I do anything wrong, someone I love will be taken from me or die. There is so much more that is odd about me, but I think you get the idea of how strange I am.
I have also always been a very strong and proud feminist. If a guy can do it, so can a woman, only better because, duh, we are smarter!!!! I guess growing up in a house with no constant male prescence will do that to ya. I have changed somewhat in the past few years though in the ways I view things. For instance, I used to believe it was rediculous for a guy to expect his wife to stay home and be the cute little housewfe. Well I still think that is absurd for a guy to "expect" that. However, now I think it is okay "IF" that is what the woman chooses. I used to think it was crazy for people to expect new mom's to stay at home instead of work when there is daycare or baby-sitters. Now I think that is what we were put here to do, until the child is in school anyway. (Children are a gift, given to us by God, and he expects us to raise them right, teach them right from wrong, teach them how to love, how to survive as they grow up, teach them about Him, etc. and nothing less. They are His, and I think a child should be treated as if caring for God himself, as perfectly as we can.) I am against abortion, altogether, and I'm not afraid to tell you that. It is wrong to murder one of God's prescious gifts, no matter what the circumstances might be. However, I won't look down at anyone who has done it. That isn't my place. My religion has changed my view of what a female's role is in life a lot, but hey, women can still do whatever they wantd. Women rock, and no one can hold us down! I'm still waiting for a female president though. Maybe I should run. Who votes for me!? Hehehe!!!

Who I'd like to meet: Anyone that is honest and loyal and would like a new friend. If you do want to be my friend however you have to be open and I want to learn as much about you as possible. That's the only way to really be a friend, or so it is as I see it. You can't be afraid to answer my questions, and likewise to ask them. I'm an open book, just tell me what you want to know and without question I'll answer. I like people like that. If you're one of those internet fools who makes up stuff or even exagerates to make yourself seem more interesting, don't bother talking to me. I can most always tell and you just make yourself look like an idiot. I don't do it very often, but love talking to people who can make ne laugh. Unique humor is hard to find. I'm also a great listener, and onlline most of the time, so anyone who just needs to talk to someone or vent about random events in their lives, I'm usually here. I don't want to talk to anyone who wants to offer pity to the "poor little innocent girl in the wheelchair". I hate it enough already. I love talking to anyone who can educate me about anything. I don't want to talk to perverts who are all the time typing "cam pls". I prefer talking to people who are smart enough to spell out a word, instead of those who try to conform to the internet bull nonsense of typing like a two year old. "U no wat I meen?"
I'd like to meet God, and of course Jesus Christ. And I would love to meet the mother, Mary, she had to be so astounding, brave, loving and unique! To stand by watching that happen to her son, and trusting that it was supposed to be that way and that it was for the rest of the world. To be the one chosen to be "the mother", she must have really been special.
