Stilton is a mishmash of electronic and organic music concrete sounds. Stilton has destroyed all boundaries of pop, dance, jazz, indie and D&B to create something original. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sam was classically trained in music in Canterbury and studied with international composers such as Sir Peter Maxwell Davies and James MacMillan. He concentrated his skills mostly on electronic music which he achieved a first class degree in. After finishing university his concentration has purely been on finding his own individual style of music. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ He has been likened to a Brian Wilson/Frank Sinatra crossbreed where the excitement of strong instrumentation and orchestration combines with a burly powerful voice. His recently finished project Tic Tac Toe gives audiences and buyers an example of what Stiltons music is about. It is a diverse mix of musical genres which incorporates elements of pop, jazz, indie and electronica. All the songs contained on the CD relate purely to his surroundings, the people around him, what they do and how society controls more than people think. His songs are not pretentious elaborations or romantic description of politics, war or peace, but they are purely an objective view on British people and what is around them.

I'm happy to announce that my new album "Songs From The Films Of David Lynch" is out now.
"Truly unsettling and perplexingly brilliant... testament to both the quality of Lynch’s soundtracks and Truax’s talents" - The Skinny
"Truax is paying homage to a kindred spirit with this album. It's the best kind of tribute – affectionate and respectful, but with its own quirks and imaginative leaps and its own distinct identity." -The Scotsman
