Stinkaholic for awhile now, 'Hurry Up!...and Wait' is a far cry from those early dayz. They seem to have taken on a totally different sound, and I'm pretty damn into this album. With a more rock n roll take on this new album they deliver some pretty catchy songs. Kicking it off with 'Cover Your Eyes' your endulged into a slow cry before striking a chord of rock with an awesome riff. 'Feel the Pain' is supposidely the first single off the album with a music video and the whole shabang. Check the video out here. 'Feel the Pain' is a little closer to the roots of punk these guys have been playing for almost eight years now. The album wraps itself around such genres as pop, punk, ska, melodic punk, and even throwing in the metal. 'Feel the Pain' is one of my favorite songs from the album. This album basically contains it all, slow songs, fast songs, a piano, melodic songs, rock songs, metal influenced songs, I found something different on everytrack which made these 14 songs very enjoyable. 'What Kinds of Words' is more old skool punk influenced with the ska guitar..you can see how these guy's main influences are Operation Ivy, Primus, Tool, Mr Bungle, Faith No More & David Bowie. *8/10* - Quality release, mixes it up constantly, and well I must say a BIG step-up from their past releases. Other songs worth checking are 'Tomorrow', 'Wasted', 'You & Everything', and 'Lazy Dayz', which grooves the hell out of me. This is one for those people who like variety and all the above mentioned genres of music. Seems like it only gets better as you go through the album.
ha ha thats funny..so i guess what you're trying to tell me is, without me, stinkaholic would have been just another band, thank you..for being a fan of my work..the best is yet to come..
