Formed in 1992 in Rotterdam by Cati Prout (french, drums, vocals) Jean Foutre (dutch - bass) and Don Pedo ( dutch
- guitar, vocals). During the first rehearsal already the first 3 songs were born. After 3 weeks the first gig
follows and after half a year later the first album "Do The Chickendance" was recorded by Eva Vreugdenhil.
Lots of activity. They play a lot and they tour a lot through Europe.
After the "meteor" start the "mise en scene" ends on a very turbulent tour, playing 7 countries, a year later in an explosive quarrel in Budapest.

With new songs and new people the show is reformed and grown out to a colourfull theatrical phaenomena. With Marianne ( guitar, vocals) and Nique (organ) the musical spectrum shifts from edgy dirty punkrock to edgy dirty
pop.
The tone is set. The time following several musicians from the Rotterdam underground-scene, came and went, with
the moment of highlight wich culminated in 13 persons on stage, the theatrical freakshow " All Prostitutes" in
Rotown.
The Stinx then proceed as a quartet, gigs follow in Holland, Belgium, Germany, and specifically in France. A French label brings out an EP on eye-striking dayglow pink vinyl. In 1999 Nique quits the band. And on the 0 hour
of Millennium the remaining Stinx make a delirius/psychedelic live jam with Don Pedo somewhere in a backroomparty
in Rotterdam.
In 2003 Pedo makes a proposal to reunite. The time preceding was a bit vague and experimental with Marianne and
"Mary" Harry (organ, vocals). With Pedo and Harry there is a recording session for a compilation-CD.
Meanwhile the original big .... StinkSound is in full force, impossible to decourse.
The Sisters are (- stinking up-) home again.
Songs laying to rot for about 10 years have ripened and with steady work new material is crafted.
Spring 2007 the Stinx are invited by French friends - Pekor Prods. - to come over to do a serious recording session. Wich turned
out to be exactly the "Madame Jeanette" pepper in the asses of the Stinx to get moving. 9 tracks were recorded in a former factory-hall in Bourges. Without planning in advance it has grown into an album, which is to be released
this year. The title of the album will be: "More Songs of Love and War".

Le 10 juin Show –case de King’s Queer au Café les épines (Strasbourg) suivi d’un atelier discussion : « Dur à Queer »
Le 13 juin l’asso’ Festygays donne carte blanche à King’s Queer pour la soirée de clôture de la Gaypride de Strasbourg. Au programme : King’s Queer + Nos copines de Mauvais Genres (www.myspace.com/mauvaisgenres) mais aussi projection du court métrage « Journal intime » (http://journalintime-lefilm.new.fr), et on s’achève sur une Disco Débile animée par nos soins !!!

Le 21 juin toujours au CCL atelier discussion : « Dur à Queer »
