| Gil Newman is the band's drummer and is a former teacher. He is the only member of the band to have actually worn a ponytail in his younger days. He cut it off because his students were jealous that he could wear one but they couldn't.
Ben Scarborough plays stand-up bass and has his pilots license. He'll be more than happy to take you up for a ride, but be warned: his medication sometimes makes him loopy.
Tracy Farr plays banjo and is the founder of the group. Don't believe anything he says. Ninety-two percent of the stuff that comes out of his mouth is made up. The other eight percent may be true, but there's no way of knowing for sure.
Jeff Smith plays clarinet and can speak five different languages. He's the tallest member of the band so he's in the back of most every picture. Don't make him mad because he'll cuss you out in Farsi and you won't even know it.
Andrew Farr plays trumpet and is the most practical member of the band. He doesn't care where or when the next gig is; he just wants to know how much he's getting paid. He's a college student, and money is a big priority.
Travis Terrel plays left-handed fiddle with the group, but he can't dance. Don't try to convince him that he should play his fiddle the "correct" way because he'll set you straight. And you don't want to be set straight by Travis Terrel. |
