Hailing from Portland, Oregon, St. Jamess Gate is an Irish power trio / quartet offering dynamic vocals, 3-part harmonies, scorching hot fiddle, funky upright acoustic/electric bass, and tight acoustic rhythm guitar. St. James's Gate specializes in a wide range of Irish Music, including beautiful Irish ballads and waltzes, faster than lightning jigs and reels, traditional pub songs and contemporary Irish music. The band also incorporates bluegrass, polka, Cajun, and classic English/American and folk songs in their broad and exciting repertoire. In the past five years, St. Jamess Gate has become one of the Pacific Northwests premiere Celtic bands, performing in festivals, packed venues, and for corporate and private functions throughout the region.
