About me:
St. Louis BicycleWORKS is a volunteer run, non-profit used bike shop sitting two blocks north of Tower Grove park. The ultimate goal of the shop is to teach kids the value of hard work. Children take classes about bike saftey and mechanics and after four weeks of classes, they earn their own bicycle, helmet, lock, and light set. The bikes are chosen and repaired by the kids themselves.
Volunteer opportunities include bike mechanic, bike salesman, educator, grant writer, promoter, and any other way we can think of that you can help.
The hours are:
Tuesday night 7 PM through 10 PM
Thursday night 7 PM through 9 PM
Saturday 10 AM through 1 PM
