Hey guys! I'm back from vacation. Once I get off from work (maybe in a few days), I will start updating again. Sorry for the delay. Soon, shows will be listed, news posted, and friend requests accepted. Thanks for the patience! Please continue posting your shows in the comments :)
May 30 - June 8
is on pause for a few weeks. I, your webmaster, am going on vacation
. But first I must explain why posts and updates have been slow lately. I am in college and just got back to St. Louis less than 2 weeks ago. I haven't been able to unpack because work found out I was home (Six Flags). I have either constantly been there or attempting to unpack. One thing that is not unpacked is my computer, for which I have no internet access. Until I can afford a laptop with which I can use Wi-Fi (which I will in the next few weeks), I can't update as much as I would like. This kills me because I really do support all of you. You guys - all you musicians, promotors, venue workers, fans, etc.- work so hard to keep St. Louis music alive, and I'm very proud of you. I am sorry for the lack of updates lately, but once I get my work schedule in an actual schedule, once I unpack, and once I get a laptop, this site will be more up-to-date.
As for June shows, they will be slightly late due to my vacation starting this week. I will be in Disney World for the beginning of June
. This means I have NO INTERNET ACCESS AT ALL!!! But this site can stay updated during this period with your help! Please send comments featuring your upcoming shows and news. It would be a big help not only to the viewers of this page, but also to me so that when this site gets up and running again, your news can be featured asap.
Also, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT FOR THIS SITE! I am truly blessed to be a part of the local music scene. Special thanks to Lake 32 (Chris S.), Eugene "Mr. Freeze", STL Musicians Unite, The Wolfpack, Voodoo Queen, Ockums Razor, Fro, WazUp STl, St. Luniverse, B & E, Local Kingz, Mark (BurningWycke), Larry (12 Bar Productions), Jupiter Studios, Blue Light Vinyl, Just Bill's, The Library (Jen, Angel, etc..), BB's, All Fall Down, Science Hill, Rock For Hope, SIGNAL 138 Productions, Strych7Hollow, Hey Mendell, Sammy & His Guitar, Of Time & Tide, Copperview, Justin Church, This is Energy, An Honest Upset, The Feed, Steve Ewing, Me Verse You, Mike Judy, Defiance Pointe (Jake), Revolt Productions, Pop's, Spectra Records, Oh Norah!, The Big Brother & Itch'y Show, Terry Perkins (Anita Rosamond), and everyone who has helped this site grow in every way! You guys rock!!
I'll see you after vacation!! Regular operation of the site will resume mid June :). Love you all!! -Katie

The First Wolfpack Meeting
of the 2009 year was held last night at Just Bill's. The attendance was great and the meeting turned out to be very productive for St. Louis music! Here is what the Wolfpack leaders had to say:
"First of all, we would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the May 12th Wolf Pack meeting.
Special thanks to Robin for attending and letting us have our meeting at Just Bills Place. Special thanks to Angel, Matt and Sherry for coming out and representing The Library. Special thanks to Greg and Brian of Hot Topic, Lori of Rock for Hope, Daniel of Sold Out Promotions, Matt Nagel Entertainment Lawyer, Jamie and Gospel of River Front Radio, Angie Knost Photography, Larry of 12 Bar Studios, Darrel of St. Luniverse, Micheal of Sun Burst Logos and all of the bands that did attend. You are the hard working bands that make The Wolf Pack what it is....
And a very special thanks to Brad of Megalith for helping us put all of this together and getting us the connections with KSHE95!!
The turn out and attitudes were awesome!! It was wonderful to see over a 100 hard working muscians and individuals out there, talking and making new friends. Our wish is that this kinda of attitude and cross promotions continues to grow and open up more opportunities for all of us!!
Speaking of growth, all of you there heard us announce Warren and The Rock Star Bar becoming an Official Wolf Pack Venue in Fort Worth Texas. Along with that, there has been a sudden Wolf Pack growth down in Texas and we are happy to announce that we will be soon launching a Wolf Pack Den for Texas!
Next meeting will be on September 4th.
That Friday night is the same night Rock for Hope will be launching their benefit show from September 4th to September 6th at the Warren County Fairgrounds to benefit children with cancer at Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center. The reason why we choose this date is because alot of out of town Wolf Pack bands will be in town that weekend to perform at the Rock for Hope Benefit on September 6th.
The next Wolf Pack meeting location has not been decided as of yet. With the rapid growth of the Wolf Pack we are afraid Just Bills Place may not have enough room to accomodate our next meeting. The next meeting date September 4th is confirmed, exact location will be updated asap.
Again, thankyou all for everything and keep up all of the hard work. You all make us very proud and we will keep working just as hard as you to keep The Wolf Pack Alive!!" -Yvonne and Tony

Freeze Records Goal!
“Our goal is to bring the artist to be well known. Help them grow their Net Worth while still bring fresh music out. We aren't like most INDIE LABELS that want to strive for minimal influence on the artist they represent, avoiding the artist-cultivating behavior of many major labels. Artists represented by Indie labels have been known to be focused more on producing music than becoming wealthy and/or well known.
WE want to become well known like all the Lyricists/Songwriters/Bands/Artists. So why
settle for a label that doesn't want what you want to grow to become well known with a good net profit coming in? WE can do this together. Freeze Records is a label For You (that works with you).”
What is Freeze Records about?
“Well Freeze Records is about giving all Lyricist/Writers/Musicians/Artists/Bands the
chance to get their music heard/distributed/marketed.”
How are we going to do that you ask?
“Well to get the major radio/distributors to even look at your material most all know you have to have a Labels backing. Ok so here is the key of Freeze Records. We are working on getting the distribution/promotions/radio submissions all set up so when members sign up, you get to use the Label Name Freeze Records as your label. You get to use the forum to help create music to be released under Freeze Records. You can cut any song that is created under Freeze Records. You can sell your bands Merchandise from the site store. You will get exposure to the advertising Freeze Records is doing. If you need a gig booked we will help do this as well (not yet available). You know that to get a big distribution deal you must have more than 1/2 albums to distribute (More like 15/20 albums). So this is one good thing for Freeze Records. If the Lyricist/Writers/Musicians/Artists/Bands release through Freeze Records, we can achieve getting that big deal for all members/signed artists. Freeze Records will be the members one stop shop for anything a Lyricist/Writers/Musicians/Artists/Bands would want.
Freeze Records' Mr.Freeze aka Eugene Lyricist has created this label to help all Lyricist/Writers/Musicians/Artists/Bands achieve their goals to getting their music out there. His Journey has been long and a lot of fighting to get where he is in such a little time. He is very thankful for the friends he has made and the new friends he is making now."
Freeze Records is going to be Everyone's Label.
"We will offer a few of the Lyricist/Writers/Musicians/Artists/Bands Contracts.
You don't have to sign artist agreement contracts unless you are really wanting to be signed directly to Us. The membership is so if they get a major label contract. You can sign and say Thank You.
We only recieve the membership fee. That is all you pay us and that is all we want to receive from Bands/Artists. The only time we receive a % of the royalties is when we release signed Artists/Bands.
*If you can think of anything a band/artist needs/wants from a label or a new idea, please let us know. We want to be the ones that offer the difference.” –Mr. Freeze
