Our music interest are very diverse, but we lean towards the punk/alternative sounds of bands like The Dead Kennedy's, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Clutch,Floater, Hole, L-7, and a slew of local bands from Seattle. If reading and interested, check out KLED, Deathbed Repentance, Sister Hyde, Church For Sinners.
Movies
I'm more of a political/documentary junkie, so I have to say, Loose Change, Why We Fight, Zeitgeist, Freedom to Fascism, Iraq For Sale, Walmart:The High Cost of Low Price. I also enjoy entertainment, films like Dead Man, Dead Alive, Bad Taste, Scary Movie, Kung Fu Hustle, Good Night & Good Luck... and the list goes on.
Television
Fuck TV! But I do admit to watching Lost, South Park, and Squidbillies.
Books
How about authors: Hunter Thompson, Aleister Crowley, Tom Hartmen, Bob Woodward, Alex Jones, Stephen King, Salman Rushdie, Tom Robbins... just to name a few in the house.

We're the bastard child of The Seattle Sinner, an underground tabloid with a cult-like following throughout the greater Seattle area founded in October of 2002. Normally when a paper syndicates, industry standards define the new publication as a "sister", but you'll soon find out that there's very little about the Sinner deemed normal by industry standards. For that matter, there's very little about this publication that anyone will find to be of the norm. That's our niche. As far as defining "who" we are, I can only say that The Sinner in Seattle was a group of punks, industrial anarchist, drunks, addicts, queers, skaters, bikers, fucking weirdos and freaks. That's because The Sinner in Seattle, like this one coming in February to St. Louis, is a forum. It's your paper, St. Louis, not ours. Our foundation is the 1st Amendment, simply meaning we never influence nor instruct any contributor to cover certain topics or to lean any way. Like I said, we're the bastard newspaper, publishing free thought with no prejudice. Most papers don't like us, and conservatives hate us. That's because true freedom is a mother-fucker. It's also the oil that runs this out-of-tune machine. That, and a god-damned loose-cannon publisher at the wheel, is The St. Louis Sinner.
Who I'd like to meet: My partner and I are a pair of recluses for the most part, and really don't care much for people of fame and fortune, but if I could meet a few people of my choice it would be the ghost of Hunter Thompson and Thomas Jefferson. As far as the walking dead goes, I'd like to meet up-and-coming writers here in the St. Louis area. As a forum, we consider ourselves to a stepping stone for amateur writers and those pursuing a career in journalism. So if that's you, drop me a line.
