August Professional Development Meeting
“IABC/St. Louis Idea Market” August 30 , 2007, 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
We are thrilled to announce the first IABC/St. Louis Idea Market – an evening of unique networking and brainstorming with fellow St. Louis area business communicators.
What is an Idea Market,,? Think brainstorming + collaboration + networking + happy hour. The brain child of innovation consultant, retreat facilitator and conference planner Matt Homann, an Idea Market is part think tank, part focus group and part social gathering. At the Idea Market, attendees bring their business challenges, questions and (of course) ideas, and share them as they participate in fun exercises designed to cram the most innovation into a two-hour collaborative experience. Learn more by visiting Matt’s Web site at www.realBIGthinking.com.
Come join fellow professionals for a fun and unique event while enjoying light fare and drinks from the newly opened Old Rock House restaurant and bar. The menu includes house-smoked pulled pork with dollar Rolls and sweet BBQ sauce, house smoked chicken wings with sweet BBQ dipping sauce, assorted miniature cheesecakes for dessert along with soda, bottled water, domestic bottled beer and wine.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the community service project at the Zoo and Epworth! It was great to see you, meet you, and work with you! Steph
