THIS IS RUKUS
RUKUS is a four piece Classic Rock/Alternative Rock band from the Belleville Illinois area. Over the years the band has seen many changes in it’s members with the exception of the original founder of the band, Johnny Merryman. Today the band’s line up consists of Johnny Merryman on Rhythm/Lead Guitar and Lead and Backup Vocals. Next is Jimmy Galbierz on Lead Guitar and Lead and Backup Vocals. Timmy Erhardt on Drums and Percussion. To round out the line up is Mike Voss on Bass Guitar and Lead and Backup Vocals.
Johnny has performed at many venues throughout the southwest part of Illinois both with the band and as a single act.
Jimmy and Timmy who have played together since the late 90’s in bands such as RAGS and XCESSIVE bring many years of experience to the band. They have performed at concerts as well as clubs and have also done Recording studio work as well.
Mike has played in many different bands in the Midwest USA and also in Japan. He has performed in many concerts and Indoor and outdoor events as well as in nightclubs. He has also done Recording Studio work in Indiana as well as New York at RCA studios in the early 70’s. He is also the band’s Sound Engineer
The RUKUS band comes to you fully contained with a full Sound System which is capable of handling the largest rooms.We also have our own Light Show.
