Played saxophone in a mixture of jazz, blues, soul, rock and experimental with Canterbury based musicians, various line-ups with 'King David' included such notables as Pye Hastings 'Caravan' and Dave Arbus 'East of Eden. From the ashes of the Whitstable based 'Sleazybeats', the punk jazz, R&B outfit 'Zoomheads' was formed with Rob Leaf, Chris Harris and King David, the guitar slot also filled by Nev Willis or Brian Barnett. Recently incorporating live musicians with samples and breaks with 'Partly Animal', including collaborations with Nigel Hobbins and Brian Barnett. Currently working with 'ZedHEads' a Whitstable based five piece specialising in self penned funky, chilled. dubwise grooves. Also been known to DJ a few tunes...
