About Stoftype

We have been subjecting people to our bizarre agglomeration of perplexing musical riffage for almost five years, and have recently been described by our wonderful resident soundman Vic as "genre defying, mixed metering, operatic Ritalin dependants".

To date, we have recorded 3 EPs, the latest fruition of our efforts being the "Guy" EP which was recorded in the snowy March of 2005 @ Granary Studios, Lamberhurst, and featured six tracks.

January 2006 saw the finish of our latest two recordings - "Attacks & Strokes" which is a brand new song, and a re-recording of "Joseph Joffo" from the Guy EP. The EP now features these two tracks, making a total of seven on the CD. The Joseph Joffo track is also accompanied by a great video put together by our good friend Neil Sullivan. We'll get the vid up on myspace when we get a copy of the finished thing.

"rock to the rhythm, (slight pause) dance to the boogie" at a speed of about 120bpm (which is roughly walking speed if ya dont get the technical shit) and send it to... seanfighter@gmail.com you can say it however you want, so long as you say it fluidly, i just want as many examples of the same sentance really to put in a new tune. PLEASE PLEASE do send a sample if you can. if you do.....please make sure you say it clearly and theres no major hissy noise from speaking into your mic too close.
