The Stolen Chair Theatre Company is a non-profit laboratory theatre dedicated to the collective creation of imaginative new work and original adaptations of classical texts. Fusing high theatricality and playful dramaturgy with traditional storytelling, Stolen Chair is committed to recycling the old to create the new, and to discovering a joyful space between the earnest and the ironic.
Our members are Co-Artistic Directors Kiran Rikhye and Jon Stancato, Company Members David Bengali, Jon Campbell, Aviva Meyer, and Alexia Vernon, and Associate Members Meirave Elbaz, Cameron J. Oro, Emily Otto, and Jennifer Wren.
