.. Stolen Thursday and the Risk create many different types of music, yet all of our songs share similar characteristics: mostly mellow, sometimes melancholy, often optimistic. All songs are instrumental. .. .. The four tracks listed above serve as a good representative sample of our style. "Worse Than" contains several mingling guitars playing on top of an electronic bass. "Bore Me" is the heaviest, with the most distortion. "Pop G, Push S" has a slow build up to a beautiful, screeching, crescendo. Finally, "Tomorrow We Rest" is sullen and slow, but pay attention to the subtleties in the looming background texture. .. .. Our music is not for everybody, but we love it. Hello Stolen Thursday And The Risk, Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. The expanse of your beauty is a void no universe could ever fill. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles.
