Stone & King took the 'impulsive' decision to visit Nashville to 'try out' the album they had written by performing it. In Nashville their charm, ingenuity and talent made sure that they were booked to perform in various bars every night, which resulted in a new large following of people who liked their music and were captivated by their live performances. It was on Music Row in Nashville that they co-wrote "Inspiration" - this duet, paved the way for Stone & King to truly find their feet as singer/songwriters and resulted in a respected Nasvhille record producer offering to work with the boys on 3 further songs.
Returning from Nashville the boys based themselves in Manchester and continued to expand upon their fast growing repertoire and work towards their ultimate goal.
2005 was an exciting year for Stone & King but was only the start of things to come- performing in and around the UK, writing more unique songs that have their unmistakable 'identity' stamped all over them and working in the studio with producers and arrangers honing their craft. September saw them supporting Girls Aloud at The Oval, in London to a capacity sell out crowd.
2006 saw Stone & King's fame spread on the live scene across the country with shows from London to Scotland - the guys are currently working on their 'debut' album and with record labels acknowledging their very bright future they are confident that they will realise the dream that was first forged when Paul and John first met at Leeds College of Music and named themselves Stone & King.
