   Stone Coast Brewing Co.'s Blurbs
About me:
In 1992, Grant Wilson conceived and built Sunday River Brewing Co., a homey brewpub nestled at the base of Sunday River ski area in Bethel, Maine. We quickly became known for tasty beer, friendly anything-you-need service and great live music. Loyal local mug club members and visitors alike fell in love. Due to popular demand, in 1995 we built Stone Coast Brewing Co. in Portland Maine. The legend of our incredible hoppy 420 IPA grew with each pint served. Hounded with requests, we asked our friends at Casco Bay Brewing to start bottling a few of our brews. In 2003, we got serious and built our own state-of-the-art production brewery right in Portland, complete with a beautiful stainless-steel bottling line. In 2004, we added a one-of-a-kind canning machine and became one of the first microbreweries in the country to can beer. Stone Coast line are now proudly available at your better stores and drinking establishments in ME, MA, NY, VT, CT, RI, and NH.

Maine Cultural Music festival

The Carriage House Cafe is hosting again Maine Cultural Music Festival on September 26th, 27th and 28th. We are still looking to fill some events slots, and any artist or entertainer is encouraged to get a hold of us. The number is 897-5880, we are looking for any genre of music, as this is Cultural and we promote any band willing to participate. This is a volunteer project, but we are hoping that does not discourage anyone from joining this festival.
We have an array of events already planned.
Friday the 26th, We are beginning the festival at 6:00 pm with live entertainment, to be announced. The entertainment will be carried over to the Carriage House Cafe and we are have a Karaoke night starting at 9:00 pm on Friday, with drink specials. It is promised to be a good time, and everyone is welcome to participate!
Saturday the 27th, we are hosting a fishing derby beginning at 6:00 am. Judging will be at 11:00 am, and trophies will be handed out at prizes. Live entertainment will continue on throughout the day, ending with a pig roast at 5:00 pm, eventually turning into live music at 9:00 pm inside the Carriage House.
Sunday morning we may be hosting another fishing derby, depending on how successful the first one is. Music will be starting at noon. We have tables available for rent, for any artist who wants to sell their pieces, vendors looking for a space to set up, etc. We are only a small group with an idea - something of this magnitude must be a community effort in order for it to be a success. Anyone with ideas or would like to be involved , please feel free to contact me, or visit me at my restaurant, The Carriage House Café. Thank you!

note: all events are scheduled to change, and the entertainment line-up is To Be Announced.

Hello from the Red Planet!
May fireworks light up your sky! Sometimes music bounces from inside your head to the next dimension and sometimes it's right in front of you. Just grab the magic and go for broke!
I've always prided myself on having a low IQ since I was made with cheap re-processed American parts and a third class robot brain. Did you ever hear a synthetic human spouting philosophy in his underwear?

PPS ZZ Van Hendrix says that he remembers you from a past lifetime...I think he was a pretzel.
PPPS We're building a giant TV-Radio Internet Link on Mars so that we can pick-up your My Space Page. Don't want to miss anything. We’ll be watching you…

HAPPY BELATED ACROSS THE UNIVERSE DAY!!!
From the ROBOTS FROM MARS

Music from Earth has been deliberately launched into space by humankind. Other than attaching a disc to a spacecraft or randomly broadcasting TV and radio signals, the Third Planet has never before attempted to share it’s musical culture with the Heavens.
A Beatles song has been beamed out into the galaxy. NASA broadcasted the song, "Across the Universe", through the transmitters of its deep space communications network on the 40th anniversary of the songs recording at London's Abbey Road studios. February 4th also commemorated the space agency's 50th anniversary. The music was converted into digital data and sent on a 431 light year-journey towards Polaris, the North Star. The broadcast began its galactic crossing at 7 p.m. EST/February 4th 2008. Martian Side note: It might take awhile for the flower children around Polaris to respond to this broadcast. They prefer space polkas and hate all forms of technology.
