Stonecutters were born in 2002 in Lecce, in the south of Italy.
The band goes beyond the stereotyped conception of extreme music, developping its proposal with a violent numetalcore crossing jazz, funky, fusion, latin pop and rock’n’roll.
In July 2006, they recorded the mini ep “The logic disfuntion of tiny music”, a mix of numetalcore/hardcore with nu jazz, pop, rock and roll and latin influences.
In December 2006, Stonecutters recorded their extract album in the Red House Studio (Senigallia, Italy), working with David Lenci, one of the most important producers of italian and european alternative music, who mixed two songs of the extract album.
In august 2007, they performed as supporter band for Extrema and Soulfly.
In may 2008, they recorded their first full-lenght in the Zenith Studio (Lucca, Italy), working with the drummer Frank Andiver (Wonderland/ex Labyrinth).
