   About Stonecypher Music
Stonecypher is the brainchild of Chris Vickery. With a long list of songs, and only a computer to play them with, finding a band was an immediate necessity. After playing in a short-lived band with Shay Barclay, Chris and Shay took the time to practice Chris's solo material. They played a few gigs with the two of them and a CD with backing tracks, but met Ben Hayes at a student show at Raleigh Music Academy. Ben was an immediate fit with the band. Aaron Wilson and Chris had played sporadically before the band, but after Shay and Ben were on board, Stonecypher needed only a drummer and Aaron was there to fill the void. Stonecypher is heavily influenced by blues and classic rock, but has a much more modern sound. The band is looking to bring back that "True" Rock and Roll vibe and break away from the mainstream. Stonecypher hopes to bring to you a musical experience like no other.

Haha, hardly.
Good! I hear it's pretty bangin'. I certainly will when I get the chance; time has been pretty elusive as of late.
Uhm, busy, as previously mentioned (traveling with the fam--what a hassle); tired, which is more of a permenant state of mind; but, altogether, surprisingly really good. School is less overbearing, so I've had more opportunities to unwind.
