....and so here comes Summer...and what have we done ?
Well, it's been a hive of activity in the SF camp of late, 2009 is proving to be a fine and flourishing year thus far.
We have just released a brand new album called " Small Town Soul " which we're pleased with because it sounds like us. It Captures our days, we'd like you to hear it.
And with pockets of airplay on the "wireless" and encouraging words from a few well respected movers n' shakers coupled with some shining features and reviews in Scootering magazine and the Zani website, we feel like we've made a good leap forwards, it has felt like it's all been worthwhile and has set our hearts ablaze with inspiration and determination, spirited times indeed.
We continue to add dates throughout the coming months, something we're enjoying more than ever at the moment and attempt to make every trip out an occasion and an event, so please try and drop in at a gig sometime soon when we pull into a Town near you.
As Always we continue to record and already we have recorded a couple of new tracks for the next record, which we won't rush of course, but expect it in the first half of 2010.
The band have also just completed an instrumental track called "Dogtooth" which is to be featured in an Italian movie of the same name, due for cinema release next summer, hopefully this hammond soaked toe-snapper will appear on here sometime soon.
We may or may not ( depending on time and finance ) release both a limited edition 7" vinyl single later this year and also a live album to capture the recent Small Town Soul performances ( which will also include the band's cover and live fave " In the Pocket " )
Keep your eyes and ears open, check back on here for info and updates and remember that all the albums, ep's etc are available to buy through links on this page.
