Take a break from the beach and catch a cooler groove at our Summer Concerts in Largo Central Park. This is a FREE event so bring a blanket or a chair, your friends, and loved ones and enjoy the music.
Saturday, August 18, 8-10 pm - Stone Gypsy
This classic rock band will pump up your weekend with songs from bands like Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Audioslave, Black Sabbath, Cream, Doors, Guns -N- Roses, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rush, Van Halen, Savatage, The Who, ZZ Top, and more!
Their bio:"Stone Gypsy was formed in the early 90's and has since then experienced a few line-up changes. Joe Balough is the original lead singer and has developed a vocal range that other singers only dream about, belting out Led Zepplin, Whitesnake and more with the greatest of ease. Justin Guenthner is the lead guitarist, and has what seems to be unlimited skill in getting all the notes right, along with the correct sounds as well. Kevin is one of the most talented bass players around, and joined the band back in early 2002. Not only can he accurately play just about any rock song there is, he can also lay down the fusion jazz and Steely Dan as well. With the recent additions of Tommy Vieira (a very high-energy front guitarist) and T.J. Williams (who won best drummer in Tampa Bay two years in a row) Stone Gypsy has now become one of the most powerful and energetic classic rock bands in the state of Florida."
