Conveniently located halfway between NYC and Boston in central Connecticut, close to I-91 and Rte 15, Stonehenge Sound is an all in one Recording Studio, Live Sound Reinforcement, Music Networking Resource, Professional Music Service, serving the greater New England and East Coast U.S.A area for many years. We support musicians and bands in ways that normally would take 2, 3 or more companies to do. We offer Multi Track Digital Recording in a cozy full service environment, Live Sound reinforcement / Live recording, Rehearsal space, Amp service and repair, Guitar and Bass service and repair, and Instrument instruction to name just a few.

Studio Recording

- 24 Track simutaneous digital recording. MOTU Interface with Steinberg Nuendo 2 surround edition with endless plugins.
- Allen & Heath 16/2 Mixwizard Console with 16 channel outboard dynamics plus 8 additional outboard tube channel strips for a total of 24 warm analog inputs to the PC.
- A Huge choice of digital and analog effects.
- A wide array of microphones including tube and solid state condensors. Various vintage and modern dymamics also available.
- 6 Isolated rooms for live tracking.
- Many instruments available...assorted guitar amps (tube and solid state), assorted speaker cabinets, Hammond B3 with 2 speed Leslie cabinet, Yamaha Recording Custom 7 piece drum set, Guitars, Bass's, other keyboards, and assorted percussion. Too many to list....

Studio Rehearsal Space

Come check out our 2 cozy, fully equipped rooms. Bring your gear, leave it home, or bring just what you need, it is up to you. Both rooms are integrated into the main control room. Rent by the day, week, or month. Other rooms are available for isolation as needed.

Live Sound

From coffee shop gigs to outdoor festivals, we've got your live sound covered. We pay close attention to the musician and we are not happy until you are! Up to 20 channels and 4 monitor mixes available. Many amp and speaker combinations available including subs and amps up to thousands of watts. Many smaller setups also available. We also offer a wide array of digital and analog effects including reverbs, delays, compression, and more. A huge choice of backline equipment also available including instruments, amplifiers and effects. All of the common live mics plus many more available. We love to travel!

Tube Amp Service

We specialize in Tube amp repair and maintenance. We rebuild, repair, modify, convert, refurbish and maintain vintage tube amps including Fender, Marshall, Leslie, Vintage Hi Fi including Scott, Fisher, Bogen and all others. We also custom build tube amps and speaker cabinets to meet your specifications. Very affordable rates and quick service. ***We buy and sell used tube amps! If you need a good warm tube amp or you are looking to sell one, simply contact us.

Media Transfer

We can convert vinyl, cassette, 2 track reel to reel, to most common digital media...DVD and VHS audio to CD or other common media...ADAT to digital or other media. Bring those old recordings in and let us remix and/or remaster them!
