Errol on vocals, Stefan on guitars, Dirk on bass and Steve on drums are a perfect match for a fun-to-watch and deeply touching songwriting band. Their different influences of music, from alternative to hard rock, from pop to funk rock; from heavy guitar riffs to mellow acoustic sound makes up the sound that describes Stone Joker. After winning the 2003 Hard Rock battle of the bands as Sourmash, and pursuing other projects including an experience in Ireland playing across the green isle for 6 months, Errol merged with Stefan (Fofi) to form STONE JOKER towards the end of 2006. Since August 06, they've played around various pubs and local venues such as Rookies, Luxol, University Campus, Hard Rock Cafe etc... THE DEBUT SINGLE "ALONE" HAS RECENTLY WON THE VH-1 SAVE THE MUSIC INTERNATIONAL SONG OF THE YEAR CONTEST FOR JUNE 2007. Stoned Joker music influence varies from covering bands such as Audioslave, Rage against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Velvet Revolver etc… to original material which is awaiting an imminent release in the local scene. Next Saturday, 13th June X-Vandals shall be hitting the stage at Remedy for the release of their 2nd CD entitled "Breach The Silence". It will also be the nite who shall feature our new entry, Mark Zlayer as our second guitarist.
