Stone Lizards was formed in 2006. After a brief period the lineup was completed and the band begins to write original songs to perform with the covers. The band is now focused only on original material and will enter the recording studio in october 2008 to record the debut album, while some past visits in the studio gave light to "Promo 2008", a demo with two original songs by Stone Lizards. In the last years, Stone Lizards took part and won a lot of contests and band battles:
-Mirandola Rock 2007
-I nostri autori...caso per caso 2007 (Contest with original songs)
-Opening Summer Party 2007
-Palma d'Oro 2008
-Concerto prima degli esami 2008
In 2007 Stone Lizards appeared on "I love rock'n'roll", on the TV channel AllMusic, with a video of "Smoke on the water" performed by the band.
Since then Stone Lizards played some important gigs like Underground Noise Fest 2008 and Temporock. Stay tuned!
Gli Stone Lizards si formano nel 2006. Dopo alcuni periodi di assestamento la formazione si completa e inizia a comporre pezzi originali da alternare al repertorio di cover. La band è ora concentrata soltanto sui pezzi propri e entrerà in studio di registrazione a ottobre 2008 per registrare il primo album, nonostante alcune passate visite in studio che danno alla luce "Promo 2008", un mini demo con due brani inediti targati Stone Lizards.
Durante il loro cammino musicale gli Stone Lizards partecipano e vincono numerosi concorsi tra i quali:
-Mirandola Rock 2007 (organizzato da Radio Pico)
-I nostri autori..caso per caso 2007 (concorso di brani inediti di S.Felice)
-Opening Summer Party 2007 (piscine di Mirandola; 1° posto giuria - 1° a pari merito per il pubblico)
-Palma d'Oro 2008 (organizzato da nik/tup e l'organizzazione dell'Eden)
-Concerto Prima Degli Esami 2008 (organizzato dal comitato sagra di S.Martino Spino).
Nel 2007 appaiono nella trasmissione "I love rock n'roll" su AllMusic con un video della cover "Smoke on the water" performed by Stone Lizards.
Partecipano anche a manifestazioni del calibro di Underground Noise Fest 2008 e locali noti come Temporock. Stay Tuned!
