STONEOCEAN are a 3 piece based in Dublin. Their music is a combo of dance beats and tricks mixed with rock guitar and licks.
During a performance at the Oxegen Festival, the trio sparked the interest of US indie label Ghost Train Records. Within a couple of months the band were signed and brought over to record their debut album in New Yorks prestigious Club House Studios with acclaimed producer Paul Murphy, following up with mastering pro Chris Athens (Cold Play, Limp Bizkit) and design artist Sean Evans (Maroon5, Aerosmith, AC/DC). The album and band have recieved critical acclaim from home press and djs with HMV selecting "one scratch away" for their playlist cd and Alison Curtis of Today fm hailing the band as one of her top bands for 2006.....Then sadly, at the end of 2006, unforseen circumstances took control and two thirds of the band {Glenn, Alan} made an exit. Then, Karac, adamant to pick up the pieces, set about auditioning a new rhythm section. In June 2007 Karac was joined by Keith Duignam {Bass} and Gary Nethaway {Drums} to, once again, complete the line up. The trio decided to draw a line in the sand and work on new material. Winter 07 passed and Summer 08 saw the band back in the studio, again, working with Paul Murphy. The band are excited to be back out playing shows, with a new set, new recordings and a fresh outlook.

FairplayCollective's Michael Brunnock has teamed up with his old band Little Palace and have just released a single entitled "Eviction" and can be down loaded at www.downloadmusic.ie
They have also released their third album called Invitation Time and is available in all good music stores.
