Ok here is the deal everyone I have had many chances to see The Cure but something major has always stepped in the way of me being able to do so. This includes one time where I had bought 4 tickets to take 3 of my friends to go see them in New Orleans on the Wild Mood Swings tour... I ended up having to sell the tickets. Please go here and demand them to come to Dallas...even if you are not a fan...do it for me please please please.... and make sure it's for Dallas
1. never cut her umbilical cord
from the stage.
2. has the ability to pull from
both sides of gender to compile stories of strength and understanding.
3. has managed to take elements
from her life to follow her true passion as a performance poet.
4. has managed to put on some of
the best spoken word shows.
5. takes the audience through
many different emotions making them feel alive once again.
6. has been nothing less than a
steam engine that can't be stopped.
7. has uprooted from Birmingham,
AL and now planting herself in Denton, TX.
8. did a two month tour, across
the country to promote her new book released in Feb. 2005 titled
"Non -stop Flight from Mars to Venus".
9. is currently working on her
new CD.
10. recently co-founded Krazy
Kats Poetry Fiasco and The Denton Poetry Slam,
along with longtime friend and fellow poet Amy Weaver.
11. spent a week in Birmingham,
AL shooting footage for a Spoken Word DVD.
