Stone Smith started out in music as a young DJ/BBoy/Graf Artist spinning around the cold midwest. (literally)

After re-locating to South Florida in 2000, he was on the microphone touring around with underground groups: "The Remedy" (reggae / Hip Hop) and "The Immortals" (Underground / Political Tip). Hosting cash prize MC, DJ, and BBoy Battles, spraying graffiti boards infront of the venues, Stone enjoys taking part in keeping "The Scene" going in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa, and everywhere in between.

Originally from Cleveland, he has kept ties with the scene up North, having the blessing to work with highly acclaimed producers "The Kickdrums" creating a new solo sound. Down South, Stone has teamed up with producer Moondoggie & the "next in line" MC Hugh Hayes to round out the formula, and has just released his third album "The Highway" this CD reflects on the situations that get thrown at you on the road of life.

Other producers on the album include C.R.A.B., Braderick & Skinny, and Breakdown of Gwan Massive. The "Florida Remix" single was featured on "Broward County Block Burnaz", the video and song take a good look at the melting pot culture we call South Florida

An artist of all trades, Stone is up all night working as the front man and back of the house for Nocternal Muzic:

A fourth installment called "Stone's Pub" is set to drop around spring break. This one is all about blending hip hop with reggae and some electronic sounds. Hosted by DJ Foolish, this ones gonna be a must have for weekends on the beach!
