Welcome to the Stones Throw's Myspace page. The Stones Throw is the most creatively diverse and architecturally unique music club in the Chippewa Valley. We offer the finest sound and lighting system in Eau Claire and it just keeps getting better! The staff of the Stones Throw is dedicated to bringing the Eau Claire area the best possible acts in dozens of musical genres. We’re featuring bigger and better acts all the time, and now with no cover charge at least four nights a week, you’re invited to come and check them out. Family Groove Company	Jul 13 2009 12:56 AM FGC hits the Memorial Union Terrace at UW-Madison for a FREE SHOW on Saturday July 18, with special guests, The Bridge, opening the night. This is sure to be a fun night of music in one of Madison’s most beautiful settings, and we hope you can join us! Also coming up in Wisconsin at the end of the month is The 3G’s Music Festival (aka Grateful Garcia Gathering) in Black River Falls. It’s the 6th annual celebration of Jerry Garcia’s birthday, and FGC will be headlining the festivities on Saturday August 1. CaMpOuT rOOts Festival and Gathering	Dec 31 2008 6:23 PM WE are very pleased to announce that the 2009 Camp Out Roots Festival and Gathering will be held June 4-7. This year’s festival will be again held in the beautiful north woods of Wisconsin at the NCN campground. Many of you have helped make Black River Falls a memorable campground for the last few years. For anyone who has not been to the NCN campgrounds you are in for an amazing weekend. NCN North is conveniently located 5 miles off Interstate I-94 with only one simple turn off the interstate onto NORTH US hwy 12/27. BLK River Falls is a short drive from many locations including Minneapolis/St Paul, Madison, Green Bay, and LaCrosse among many other places where you all come from. The Campground offers 75+ acres of spacious camping, with plenty of wooded camping. A beautiful swimming pond with beach (onsite) has been a favorite of many of the Campout Folk and the campground offers plenty of walking trails, pavilions all over a volleyball court and a great main stage tucked back far from the road. This campground has it all, and with all of the great energy of all the wonderful people the Campout experience is that much more enjoyable. The Campout is a safe community where you are free to express yourself and can leave behind many of the day to day stresses of life. Camp Out Roots is scheduled for Thursday June 4th, Friday June 5th, and Saturday June 6th. Gates will open at high noon on Thursday and will close at 2pm Sunday.
