Welcome to the Stones Throw's Myspace page. The Stones Throw is the most creatively diverse and architecturally unique music club in the Chippewa Valley. We offer the finest sound and lighting system in Eau Claire and it just keeps getting better! The staff of the Stones Throw is dedicated to bringing the Eau Claire area the best possible acts in dozens of musical genres. We’re featuring bigger and better acts all the time, and now with no cover charge at least four nights a week, you’re invited to come and check them out. It’s hard to believe, but FGC’s only Wisconsin show of the fall is this Thursday 10/29 at the Miramar Theater in Milwaukee. We’re planning on making it a good one, so hope to see you there!

FGC is back in Wisconsin this Saturday 8/29 for a special show at Tanner’s Grill and Bar in Kimberly, WI. The second annual “Family Affair� will feature several bands, a free pre-party, vendors, and more, all benefitting the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. This is an ALL AGES show! FGC hits the Memorial Union Terrace at UW-Madison for a FREE SHOW on Saturday July 18, with special guests, The Bridge, opening the night. This is sure to be a fun night of music in one of Madison’s most beautiful settings, and we hope you can join us!
Also coming up in Wisconsin at the end of the month is The 3G’s Music Festival (aka Grateful Garcia Gathering) in Black River Falls. It’s the 6th annual celebration of Jerry Garcia’s birthday, and FGC will be headlining the festivities on Saturday August 1. Dred I Dread, an award winning Reggae and Hip Hop band fronted by Peewee Dread and Rawle G, is proud to announce the release of their third album entitled ‘Tribulation'. An album release party is scheduled on June 27, 2009 at the Bunkers Music Bar & Grill, Minneapolis , MN .
With ‘Tribulation’ Dred I Dread sets a new standard at the local original music scene by releasing two new albums, independently produced and locally recorded within 7 months. All this was possible due to the continued support of the fans and friends of the band during the last 11 years of existence of Dred I Dread.
Dred I Dread will perform songs from ‘Tribulation’ and also brand new Singles such as 'Bushman Riddim/ Free Mama Earth’, ‘Global War’ and ‘What is the Reason?’ during this show. These new singles are also scheduled for an up coming album release on December 2009.
