    Doo it I'd like to read some. Yes that would be wonderful , I can stay in the generator hostel again. I want to spend a whole day at the British Museum not that you have to come with me but honestly if you haven't been the place is HUGE.

    The street image is somewhere in Adelaide near the markets around the side streets there perhaps near the Chinese gate. I just thought the reflections looked really cool. It's over that side of the city anyway.

    Glad to hear some nice little boutiques are popping up. There isn't anywhere in Preston like that , and not much in Manchester really. I nearly got snowed in at work tonight , whilst I was working late there was a blizard. My brother was really nervous driving back.

    I tried finding your address but I can't I know it's melody something. I know the name but I won't type it out so message me because it says I have it wrong ?

    There is a cool female fronted hardcore band playing Adelaide I think at Fowlers on the 27th , they're into veganism. They're called Punch , that is if you still dig that sort of stuff.

    I just peeped your blog , Nick Cave has a novel out. I haven't read it though. MF DOOM gets lots of thumbs up from me. Hmm well it's a Joy Divison/The Curesque 80s sound but anyway perhaps it's the hair that puts you off or all the synth and big shoulders haha.

    I'm just busy working in retail now which over the Christmas period is awful. It's been so snowy here really deep ! I have no time to go take photos of it which makes me sad.

    I know I'm sorry my boo. I never got a chance to send you a postcard either. I've got a typewriter now though so I'll try and send you some post. I'm back at my parents house for Christmas. I had a photo in an exhibition recently :)

    I'm terrible at replying... I just don't really use Myspace much anymore. So, two weekends have passed. The weekend you asked about was just weird, I went to this uni party and met up with a girl I met in France in '06. Strange. This weekend was also weird, went to the worst party in the world... Not the worst, probably in my top 10 'I would rather neck myself' soirées.

    I kind of have to have no social life from now until the 10th Dec. I'm going to the Philippines until the end of Jan, so I'm going to need a little bit of cash.

    How have you been? Good weekend?

    Hahaha yeah, my Swedish friend Gustav is the cutest when he speaks! Instead of saying what is this? He'll say what are this? Hahahah. So adorable. Once he asked me how 'long' I am, i.e. my height. Haha.

    Countries I must go to to see friends (and family I guess too): England, Wales, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Slovenia and Italy.

    Yeah, I was thinking that it would be a nice time to go. Both times I've been were over autumn/winter, so it will be a nice change. I need to visit heaps of different people, so it's going to be a weird adventure. I'm so determined... I need just one more trip to distract me from study and life progression... Whatever that is. 

    Swedish dudes, yeah. :) Germans are nice too. I love how they sound when they speak English; music to my ears, pretty much. Haha.

    I'm thinkin' I'd be pretty happy to just travel around picking fruit and vegetables, making art then maybe meeting a cute Swede and you know. I romanticise everything, $10 I'd maybe hate that if I were actually doing it. Just seems heaps better than studying...

    Yeah, I'm thinking June/July next year! :)

    That's cool, linguistics would be interesting. I thought about doing that last year (what haven't I thought about doing, honestly) because you can get graduate entry into speech pathology, which at the time, seemed like a cool and rewarding career to pursue. But I don't know... I'm still finding my bearings, at 23. Rad.

    Haven't been couchsurfing or hosting this year. I've had a few requests but have had to say no 'cause of uni and work commitments, plus, the spare room is now a study/full of art junk. I'd hate to put someone on our couch, it's not the most comfortable thing in the world. I've hosted two German girls though, and a Slovenian cyclist who was riding around the world haha. I slept on a guy's fold out bed in Perpignan, France too, which was cool. I definitely plan on using it more.

    Funny, if I left and wanted to relocate, I'd be going to exactly the same place as you. In fact, I made a decision today. Next session I'm thinkin' I'll do uni part-time, get a full-time job, bail for Europe in June with the intention of a 6 week - 2 month travel jaunt, but travel on a Brit passport. 'Cause let's face it, you never know who you're going to meet or what's going to happen.

    So yeah, I'm psyched! : o

    yeah, you heaps made me think i should just quit uni and move there, which doesn't seem realistic to most people, but i think it's feasible. i could totally get my shit together by july and bail. out of curiosity, have you studied anything? how do you plan on supporting yourself? heaps weird that you use couchsurfing too, 'cause so do i.
    mono are great, are you going to see them when they come out in dec? 
    the band in the video are called the middle east, they're really interesting, some songs are really, really folky, some are sigur rós-esque. they're lovely live.

    i'm from wollongong, hour south of syd. soul destroying place, chokin' on life.
