...the voices of the community asking KABC advertisers to make the right choice and STOP FUNDING HATE SPEECH RADIO. Call these advertisers and inform them that their money is funding hate speech radio. Many companies aren't even aware that McIntyre is perpetrating hate speech so we are asking them to pull their advertising off the air. So I have decided to become a blog journalist cyber-revolution guy. The news on TV is mostly all nonsense and advertisements and it's completely biased towards the status quo because the networks are owned by very wealthy corporations. NBC is even owned by General Electric which makes LOTS of money off defense contracts, and that makes me wonder just how critically they're gonna look at the war. Intelligent people tend to watch TV very little anyways (except perhaps for The Daily show and Adult Swim)...
I've always believed that people who complain should do it better themselves or else shut up... so that is what I am doing.
But it's not all grim, no escape, fire and brimstone here. In DC when I worked 9 shifts a week as a waiter to the point of slight insanity me and the hundred other guys I worked with who had no legally recognized civil rights in this country learned this: In times like these, if you don't laugh, you will fucking die. Like a Tilapia.

What is the Come Together Community Festival?
The principal concept behind the festival will be to celebrate and share with one another the richness and diversity that makes up our city. The festival be held Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the L.A. Crash Mansion in Downtown, with two main components.
1. Multi-Cultural/musical component that is as diverse as possible and promotes a deeper appreciation for one another¢s heritage. From traditional to contemporary expressions of music, poetry, art and dance.
2. An informational component that promotes social justice and community empowerment. Groups and individuals that wish to promote community involvement and alternative approaches in areas such as health, employment, the environment, culture, immigration and peace will be encouraged to participate.

Veronica Salcedo, a woman in the Sacramento, CA area, is being accused of shaking to death a baby that was under her care. The baby's parents and local media are portraying this woman as guilty although the TRIAL HAS NOT BEGUN and NO EVIDENCE has yet been produced. There are even BILLBOARDS and BUMPER STICKERS (on local POLICE CARS) implying that she is guilty.
Veronica is from Mexico, is undocumented, and so far has denied the charges against her; she has also refused a plea deal. If you are interested in helping Veronica receive a fair trial, Sacramento radio-personality, Christine Craft, has created an account that you can deposit money into. Also, if anyone's interested in helping raise more funds for Veronica's legal defense fees, let me know. I don't have any answers, but I'm sure we can put our heads together to think of ideas. The internet, e-mail, and MySpace are great, but many people that don't use or have access to the internet would probably want to donate to help Veronica receive a fair trial.
