Stop The Suffering is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to save the lives of dogs and cats in high kill shelters, primarily in rural Ohio. We are an all-volunteer organization. Please consider making a donation to save a life - we have no administrative expense - every penny donated goes to saving animals lives.
This organization exists for the sole purpose of rescuing dogs and cats from any shelter that are about to euthanize them. These loving animals are on the “euthanasia short list” because no one has claimed or adopted them. In many cases, we rescue an animal hours before it is scheduled to be put to sleep, giving them every opportunity to be claimed or adopted. The animals we rescue are placed in foster homes with our volunteers until their new family adopts them.

ALLIE
Allie is a 2 year old Border Collie mix who just wouldn't sit still for her picture. She is a fun, bundle of energy who loves people and other dogs. Allie was rescued from a rural Ohio shelter in May. She has been a delight to her foster mom and to everyone she meets.
She is about 45 lbs and has a beautiful, shiny coat and big brown, expressive eyes. She would do extremely well in a home with another active dog who loves to play. She will require a fenced yard due to her energy level.
Allie is crate-trained; although her current foster mom does not crate her when she leaves. Allie is looking for a home, could it be yours??? Allie's adoption fee is $225, which includes all vetting (spay/neuter, all vaccinations including rabies, heartworm test & started on prevention), started on flea/tick prevention and a leash & collar. Being an all-foster based rescue, we can only save as many animals as we have foster homes for. Please contact us if you would like to help! We cover all medical and food expenses, and will also provide you with a leash and a crate if we have any available!
