Band MembersNeil Bartos - Guitar NEIL BARTOS (Guitar) – A founding member of the band, Neil has been influenced by many greats such as Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and, of course, Ritchie Blackmore. Neil has played in a number of bands throughout the years, dating back to 1966. He has had the pleasure of performing with such notables as Neil Giraldo, Rick Derringer, and Neil Zaza. He is currently involved with building custom guitars, as well as full guitar repair and servicing __________________________________________________________________ Rusty Zizak - Bass Guitar MIKE “RUSTY” ZIZAK (Bass Guitar) – A band member since 1988, “Rusty” has been influenced by such greats as Geddy Lee of Rush, and Mel Schacher of Grand Funk Railroad. His musical journey began at a young age, alongside his brother, who played guitar. As “Rusty” travels down this musical road that spices his life, he continues to demonstrate his passion through his Fender Jazz Bass and his towering Custom Randall Stack._____________________ Steve Zavesky - Drums STEVE ZAVESKY (Drums) - The spark that ignited his drumming flame Steve’s introduction to Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow “Rising” album, featuring the great Cozy Powell on drums. This led to the discovery of Blackmore’s former band Deep Purple with the amazing drumming of Ian Paice. Steve’s style combines jazzy chops and speed with classical and blues rock, resulting in the exciting, powerful reckless abandon that is hard rock. Steve carries with him the experience of over 1200 varied original rock, blues and classic rock gigs. He has played throughout the mid-west in tributes to some of rocks greatest including the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Janis Joplin, The Doors, and the Grateful Dead_____________________________________________ CRAIG REED (Keyboards) – Since the tender age of 4, Craig has spent much time studying classical piano, even making it his minor in college. Craig has seen stage time with many bands through the years, including 10th Avenue, Dixie Wrecked, and the Kevin Reed Band. In addition to Hammond organ, Kurzweil and Roland keys, Craig plays guitar, drums, and several wind instruments as well. He also teaches music in his spare time to our yet uncorrupted youth._______________________________________ RON EMIG (Vocals) – A late bloomer, Ron first took to the stage in his late 20’s. He has been strongly influenced by vocal stalwarts Ronnie James Dio, Bruce Dickinson, and, of course, Ian Gillan. He has fronted original metal bands Zone Eleven and Necessary Evil, as well as metal cover band Paradox.
InfluencesDEEP PURPLE - Along with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Deep Purple are considered to be among the pioneers of modern hard rock and heavy metal, although some band members have tried not to categorize themselves as any one genre. Having incorporated both pop and progressive rock elements, the band have sold over 100 million albums worldwide. Landmark albums and hits include Shades of Deep Purple (Hush), Deep Purple In Rock (Speed King, Black Night, Child in Time), Fireball (Strange Kind of Woman, Demon's Eye, Fireball), Machine Head (Smoke on the Water, Highway Star, Space Truckin', Lazy), Who Do We Think We Are? (Woman from Tokyo), Burn (Mistreated, Burn), Stormbringer (Gypsy, Soldier Of Fortune, Stormbringer), Perfect Strangers (Knockin' At Your Back Door, Perfect Strangers) and, of course, their legendary live album - Made in Japan. Many members of Deep Purple have gone on to considerable success in a number of bands including Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Whitesnake.

   About Stormbringer
Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, this bands’ history dates back to the year 1986. Starting with their very first live performance at the infamous Shadows NightClub in Cleveland, the bands’ strength and popularity would propel them venues across Ohio and into Pennsylvania and New York. After many performances throughout the ‘80’s, ‘90’s, and into the early 2000’s, the band eventually took a hiatus from performing. The year 2007, however, would see the band re-emerge with a powerful new line-up, much to the delight of hard rock fans here in northeast Ohio. Once again, the band has successfully taken on the task of performing all the Deep Purple classics, as well as selections from the Ritchie Blackmore Rainbow years. Their performances, which include recent appearances at TOWER CITY AMPHITHEATER, Medina’s “RALLY IN THE ALLEY”, and akron's "ROCK THE LOCK" concert series continue to feature the combined elements of power, grace, and precision that are so well known to all fans of Heavy Rock giants – DEEP PURPLE !!_________________________________________________________________ Burn
