About me: I love weather, it's one of my passions in life. I follow it everyday, i love taking photos of storms, i enjoy storm chasing, and learning more about the atmosphere and how storms develop. I've been a Skywarn Spotter for the National Weather Service here in Duluth, MN for 10 plus years now. Outside of being a weather nerd-lol, i enjoy taking walks (when the weather is nice), it's so refreshing and it gets the heart pumping! The Munger Trail is one of my fav. places to walk, ha plenty of wild deer roam around on that trail :) I enjoy bike riding as well, and i like driving up to my favorite look-out at night to view the stars/northern lights-when the weather is clear, that look-out is a little bit past Fond Du Lac MN, it's so peaceful and calm up in that area, it's very pretty!!! I'm also a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, i'm into local dirt track racing, especially over at the Superior Speedway-that track is awesome! I'm into hockey and college basketball as well, outside of football and dirt track racing. I'm a huge fan of Seinfeld, The King Of Queens, Family Guy, Home Improvement, George Lopez, Everybody Loves Raymond, i'm slowly getting into The Office. Yeah it was strange feeling for July! these cold fronts we keep getting, usually we get fronts sometimes but not enough to do this and have high pressure in the summer that brings COOLER NIGHTS and LOW DEW POINTS? Summer? usually High pressure here is hot and humid.. Dew points fell to upper 40's the other day which is below norm for us.. But summer storms make a return this weekend!
Yep...got a good amount of rain here! It's still thundering outside right now! It was looking a little hairy earlier, was beginning to wonder if it was going to turn severe around here. I did go out and take a few pics. I'll post them in a little while.
Our weather has been perfect in my book! Bout frickin time eh! Storm wise, things have been a lil boring lately! I like how our risks fall apart. I think things will pick up again here by late July thru September so maybe some mellow weather now will be best!! Beautiful moon coming up now at 1am! I love this weather!
Well its not really the distance but the timing, its in the middle of the week and I dont have that much more time off work to use for multi day treks. If it were a weekend id be out there for sure.
Im hoping it doesn't pan out that way either, it also looks to get replaced by a canadian high...BOOOO!
Great Pics Tim from the past storms. Maybe this will be our week for some awesome severe weather. It's going to be quite warm and humid for the first real time this year. Time to turn the air conditioners on
Cool! I'm hoping my Bush check shows up this week, which it should. When it does, I'll get the phone back on and get the truck gassed up! Keep me posted on any severe threats! Take care bud!
It is HOT, HOT HOT here! Blazing!!! 7 days of triple digits and I'm ready to pack and move up north. This is quite enuf for me, thank you very much! So...how have you been, Tim? Haven't heard much from you lately?
Thanks, he'll be okay. At least they moved him out of ICU tonight. But, I don't think he will be getting out of the hospital anytime soon.
How was the weather up your way today? It was pretty nice here. The sunset was pretty tonight! I wish I would've had my camera with me while I was driving home. Ugh.
The last couple of days have been really hectic here! My dad put his hand through the table saw a couple of nights ago. He did some pretty severe damage to his hand! He's still in ICU at the trauma center.
Other than that, we did have a small thunderstorm come through here this afternoon. I thought about taking some pics, but was just not in the mood because of being too tired. Oh well, at least we are getting some nicer weather! ;)
Last night was a bust! At least I only drove to Cotton and not Anoka or something like that! When I got home just before the second round came over I noticed a cool breeze coming from the lake! Not much, but it was there! It will be nice to have a few days of storm free weather. I just hope it stays nice like today!! Maybe the lake will warm up some so it doesn't kill storms like it has been!! Take care Tim. Enjoy this great weather while you can!!

Yep, I tried...this was the best shot of getting clipped by the storm. Hopefully, the storms won't be too bad on Saturday, but I hope to get some new photos if it's worth taking pics of!
