I’m yet to meet my hero, my vision of the one on white horse. My soul companion the one who shall be my breath and my pulse, my heart, my voice, to be one with another.
My list though of people I admire could nearly be endless, from friends I have meet to athletes I have coached. Listed are but a few.
My Grandfather Alfred Nelson Sampson who is no longer walking this earth of ours, but who is with me everyday. This man taught me at a very young age that the universe is a great thing and something to be in awe of. You need not have to see or touch something to know that it is there, but to open up your mind, heart and soul and just dare to believe…..and that Magic does happen.
My Step Dad Jim, who lost his battle with cancer the second time round. This man never complained no matter what happened or how much pain he was in he alway's had a smile and a mischevious twinkle in his eye right up until the God's carried him home. He stood by me through all of my life lessons, the big and the small. He only had to listen to my voice over the phone and could tell my mood. I would often wake up to find him on my doorstep, he had driven seventeen hours to check on me. Jim I miss you even though I know you are with me everyday. I love you, your Cher.
My Mother, who is much more than a parent but my friend. Against all the odds that she has been through she continues to walk her own path with an open heart.
My daughter Jodie (gymnast/ acrobat) who has had many challenging obstacles thrown in her path. This young girl has the determination and vision that anything is possible.
LIFE IS AN ACT OF BALANCE
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF MOTHER EARTH
I. Thou shalt love and honour the Earth for it blesses thy life and governs thy survival.
II. Thou shalt keep each day sacred to the Earth and celebrate the turning of its seasons.
III. Thou shalt not hold thyself above other living things nor drive them to extinction.
IV. Thou shalt give thanks for thy food, to the creatures and plants that nourish thee.
V. Thou shalt educate thy offspring for multitudes of people are a blessing unto the Earth when we live in harmony.
VI. Thou shall not kill, nor waste Earth's riches upon weapons of war.
VII. Thou shalt not pursue profit at the Earth's expense but strive to restore its damaged majesty.
VIII. Thou shalt not hide from thyself or others the consequences of thy actions upon the Earth.
IX. Thou shalt not steal from future generations by impoverishing or poisoning the Earth.
X. Thou shalt consume material goods in moderation so all may share the Earth's bounty.
BEFORE TIME WAS
Before time was, there was the One; The One was all, and all was The One.
And the vast expanse known as the universe was The One, all wise, all-pervading, all-powerful, and eternally changing.
And space moved. The One molded energy into twin forms, equal but opposite, fashioning the Goddess and the God from The One and of The One.
The Goddess and God stretched and gave thanks to The One, but darkness surrounded them. They were alone, solitary save for The One.
So they formed energy into gasses and gasses into suns and planets and moons; they sprinkled the universe with whirling globes and so all was given shape by the hands of the Goddess and God.
Light arose and the sky was illuminated by a billion suns. And the Goddess and God, satisfied by their works, rejoiced and loved, and were one.
From their union sprang the seeds of all life, and of the human race, so that we might achieve incarnation upon the earth.
The Goddess chose the moon as her symbol, and the God the sun as his, to remind the inhabitants of earth of their fashioners.
All are born, live, die, and are reborn beneath the sun and moon; all things come to pass there under, and all occurs with the blessings of The One, as has been the way of existence Before Time Was.
LIFES PATH – THE ROADS TRAVELLED
A lady, a daughter of the Great Mother stands on a cliff and stares out at the gentle sea watching the small swell of the waves flow along in the afternoon breeze, down below the cliff face the tide laps on the shore the sounds make music to her ears.

Life Ignorance makes you believe that life functions haphazardly. Wisdom teaches you that everything that happens in this theatre of life has profound significance. What you see today is not the fruit of chance but a fruit from seeds planted in the past. Plant seeds of peace now and you will create a life of peace in the future.
