We have been influenced by many kinds of music genres.
For example: different types of metal, rock and classical arrangements.
In addition, several guitar players, song writers, singers and other musicians are inspiring our music.
Sounds Like
Many people say that we sound like a mix between Nightwish and Hammerfall. But we haven't found a band that sounds like us, yet. So just listen to our music and send us your idea!!!
Stormgarde plays melodic metal. Often they are associated with bands like Nightwish and Hammerfall, but also old school rock like Rush. With Sabrina's versatile Voice and the catchy Keyboards the band take care,that fans from different genres get their moneys worth.
Concerts are given since 2001and the band presents themselves on a lot of national stages so far, amongst others on the "Dong Open Air 2005“ (Skyclad, Finntroll etc.), "Celtic Rock“ (2008, with Die Apocalyptischen Reiter and Schelmisch) and "Steel meets Steel“ (2008, with Dew Scented and many more).
The first demo was released in 2004 and achieved a lot of good up to excellent reviews in the trade press and strikes big interest by metalfans (over 135.0000 song downloads, march 2008)
2006 the ban begun with the recordings of their debut album "The Answer“. During this time Pfanny left the band.
In november 2008 Stormgarde releases their album "The Answer“. The disc contains ten tracks. If that sparks your interest, you can order it at www.stormgarde.com.
In november 2008 lead guitarist Daniel leaves the band for personal reasons and is replaced by Sebastian Watolla (Neon Sunrise) in april 2009. Also bassist Stefan "Pfanny" Leushacke is constant member of Stormgarde again.
At the moment Stormgarde are in search of serious label- and bookingpartner plus a new keyboarder. (May 2009)
£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
