What's The Music About? Storm Warning are one of the most musically dynamic and interesting bands on the UK blues/rock scene.
“One of Britain’s most talented and well respected Blues bands….. a distinctive blend of contemporary blues, rock that creates their trademark slick and classy sound.” Blues Matters magazine.
“Soulful gut-bucket groove that’s half hard times, half good-time-all-the-time…..they delve deep into breezy jazz, fiery rock or smoky R&B, but the blues always call them back.”
Classic Rock magazine.
“Clever, complex and compelling…this is a progressive album that sounds relatively distinct from any predecessors. An impressive assured set.”
Blues in Britain magazine
Who's In The Band?
Vocalist Steve Norchi has recently joined the band. He has previously worked with Mark Knopfler and Pick Withers and Brewers Droop. The blues/rock lead guitar of Bob Moore, shares the solos with the classic organ and piano
sounds of Ian Salisbury which adds an additional blues-based dimension. Ian is also one hell of a blues harp player.
Drummer Roger Willis, formerly with Capability Brown and Krazy Kat, and bassist Derek
White complete the line-up, forming what The Blues Band bass man Gary
Fletcher described as “an ace rhythm section.”
New Album - Something Real

no.48 in the Amazon Blues Charts. Produced by the band and Martin
Atkinson at his M.A.R.S. studio, the album features seven original
tracks and two covers of modern blues standards. It received excellent

broadcast on June 22nd 2006 and once again accolades and CD sales came
flooding in.
