Too many burlesque heros, idols, inspirations to note - I wouldn't want to leave anyone out! I will say that my biggest comedic influence/favorite comedian is Benny Hill, take from that what you will!
About me: Stormy “Buns of Squeal” Leigh calls herself a “Mild mannered office worker by day, zany burlesque performer by night!” While October 2009 marked her third year in the burlesque community, Stormy's first steps on stage were when she was a mere five years old. It was then she learned she enjoyed the limelight and had a special connection with her audience - a star was born! Stormy continued studying ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance, finding great joy in the expression of movement to music. More noteably, Stormy has performed with Flor de Liz Dance, Tucson Metropolitan Ballet, in the motion picture "Tank Girl", and also spun fire poi with Flam Chen while on roller skates! Stormy now proudly performs with Black Cherry Burlesque in Tucson, Arizona, showing off her playful sense of humor, wildly shimmying hips, beautifuly detailed costumes, and specializes in "nerdesque" burlesque. Her favorite acts include a holiday Grinch, a safe cracking theif, a nerdy Rubik's Cube girl, and a ballerina "gone bad"!
